Walmart just made one of the easiest money decisions of the holiday season. The retailer has bundled its two memberships together: Sam’s Club Plus now includes Walmart+ at no extra cost, giving members warehouse-club shopping and Walmart delivery perks under a single $120-a-year plan.
What the Walmart Plus bundle includes
According to Walmart’s announcement, the combined membership includes Sam’s Club warehouse access and member pricing, free shipping and delivery from both Walmart and Sam’s Club, free pharmacy delivery, a choice of Peacock or Paramount+ streaming, 10 cents off per gallon at more than 17,000 participating gas stations, 2% Sam’s Cash on eligible purchases (up to $750 a year), early shopping hours and a second Sam’s Club membership card.
The math: $120 instead of $218
Bought separately, Sam’s Club Plus costs $120 a year and Walmart+ costs $98 a year — $218 total. The bundle keeps the $120 price and adds Walmart+ free, a saving of about $98 a year. It also undercuts Amazon Prime at $139 a year. Existing Sam’s Club Plus members can activate Walmart+ at no extra charge, Walmart+ members can add Plus for $22 more a year, and regular Sam’s Club members can upgrade to the bundle for $60 more.
Who should switch
If your household already pays for both, switching is close to free money. If you only shop at Walmart, Walmart+ alone at $98 may still be enough. The bundle makes the most sense for families who buy groceries and household goods in bulk at Sam’s Club but also rely on Walmart delivery during the week.
